It’s the final step in finishing your work and you need to be part artist, part physicist and part chemist! Even then results aren’t guaranteed!
In this class you’ll learn about the changes that happen in the kiln, the difference between clay, glaze, underglaze and oxides, and how to plan & test your glaze outcomes.
You’ll need to bring some bisque pieces to practice with, or you can purchase some from the studio. Our studio glazes will be available for use. (N.B. firing costs are additional)
