Lot19 Arts Precinct
We are working to cement Lot 19 as an arts precinct offering a range of artists talks, workshops, studio tours, literary, music and theatre events, enveloped in a welcoming environment.
Our year-round arts-centered activities showcase Lot 19 as a destination for locals and visitors seeking entertainment, edification, and cultural enrichment in Castlemaine and the surrounding towns of this food, wine, and travel region.
Lot19 is a beacon for artists and visitors to Central Victoria with an established reputation for diverse and professional presentations and community connection. This expansive 3 acre tree-lined property exudes character and heartfelt charm, cleverly using recycled materials and bountiful garden spaces. Lot 19 is home to:
- 2 outdoor stages on large green space for concerts, festivals and more
- A large Gallery for exhibitions and events
- The Tram with outdoor deck for smaller events
- Bar-café with dining, and all-access facilities
- An open-access ceramics studio and print-makers studio
- 20 artists’ studios
The relaxed ambience and flexibility of this site means that you can easily curate an event to remember, whether you are planning a wedding, party, or some other kind of special occasion or gathering.
