Deborah Klein has worked in all aspects of the creative industry in both Australia and overseas for over 30 years. She has maintained a parallel practice as a commercial and exhibiting artist for much of that time.
While studying graphic design and marketing at RMIT Deborah discovered traditional cut-paper illustration. She went on to explore and expand the possibilities of this practice, teaching herself methods of manipulating paper that combined her love of illustration and sculpture. The work featured in Deborah Klein: Dimensional Paper Illustrations is a survey of that exploration.
