Pretty/Ugly: Mixed Media Exhibition

Pretty/Ugly is a mixed media group show exploring the age old question- what is beauty?
Curated by Suzanne Donisthorpe and featuring works by Eliza-Jane Gilchrist, Jackie Goring, Andy Jackson, Bill Sampson, Les Thornton and Rachael Wenona Guy, Pretty | Ugly will contemplate contemporary aesthetics and our complex relationship to beauty.
Pretty/Ugly will be open 11am-4pm weekends: 9-11 March, 16-17 March and 23-24 March *, with an opening party on Saturday 9 March, 2024 at 11am.
There will also be a panel discussion on Sunday 17 March at 2pm.
This exhibition is taking part during Arts Open 2024. We encourage our art-loving community to explore all that is on offer over that time!
* please note, the gallery will be accessible to Castlemaine Idyll ticket-holders only on Saturday 23 March.
